Wow, its already been 2 years (according to the Hindu Calendar) since my first blog post here on this blog! Now that I look back, a lot has changed since then. But this is not the blogpost retrospecting over my past two years (will save it for some other time); its about wishing you all a Happy Dussehra🙂
The word Dussehra is derived from the Sanskrit word Dasha-hara – Dasha meaning Dashanan (Ten-Headed) Ravan (The Demon King) and Hara meaning defeat. This day marks Lord Rama‘s victory over the ten-headed demon king Ravana; it also marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the demons Mahishasur; thus signifying the victory of good over evil.
So here’s wishing all the readers of my blog, a Happy Dussehra! May you succeed in all your endeavors in life! May God bless you all!
Best Wishes,
Abhishek V. Potnis
